Community Poll..... I have a 1956 porsche 550 spyder built by vintage sypder in california. I am thinking about taking it to barrett Jackson but I need to know.

1. Will the vehicle be well recieved at an auction like this?
2. Are selling prices strong?
3. What are the auction fees?

Would I be better off selling it on my own or taking it to the auction?

Nice car. Wow. Those are tough to find and very desirable. The james dean race car!
To answer:
1. Yes. I think it will be very well received because it is different and not something you see down there all the time like a muscle car.
2. Looks like it. You can check auction results on barrett Jackson or Manhiem website. They seem real strong.
3. Typically they are 8% of selling price and a lot consignment fee of $700 to $1500. Plus, you have to ship it there.

If you go look me up. I may meet you. I love the auctions. Any pics of the spider you can upload?
